The defendants, Laurentino Alvarado and Manuel Londono, were indicted on charges of trafficking over 200 grams of cocaine and conspiring to traffic in cocaine. The defendants each filed motions to suppress the cocaine seized during two separate warrantless searches. The motions were denied with respect to twenty-eight grams of cocaine seized during a search of Londono's person,2 but allowed with respect to the cocaine seized...
