I. STATEMENT OF CASE

The plaintiff-appellant, K Corporation, doing business as The Westroads Club, alleges in its operative petition that it was libeled by the defendant-appellee, Patrick K. Stewart. The district court sustained Stewart's demurrer and, upon Westroads' election to stand on its petition as pled, dismissed the same. Westroads thereafter appealed to the Nebraska Court of Appeals, whereupon we, in the exercise of our authority...
