Appellants Darrell and Betty McIntosh, as next friends of their minor son, Scott McIntosh, sued Keith Copeland and James Alexander, appellees, alleging medical malpractice and negligence in the obstetric care and delivery services provided to Betty McIntosh and Scott, her newborn son.
