The appellant, Cathy Ann Maynard, challenges the judgment and sentence imposed upon her after a jury found her guilty of manslaughter in violation of section 782.07, Florida Statutes (1991). She contends that the trial court erred in denying her motion for judgment of acquittal and in failing to give certain proposed "theory of defense" instructions to the jury.
