This matter is before the court on the motion of the defendants Rice/Maddox Partnership ("Rice/Maddox"), Jack V. Rice ("Rice"), and Ronald Maddox ("Maddox"), for summary judgment. The plaintiffs are all former employees of Doctors Memorial Hospital ("DMH"). DMH rented the land and hospital building from Rice/Maddox, whose partners were Rice and Maddox.
