Marvin C. Jones, a Missouri inmate facing a sentence of death, appeals from the district court's denial of his second amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Jones asserts manifold points of error and also seeks a remand of the case for reconsideration of newly proffered evidence in light of the Supreme Court's decision in Schlup v. Delo, ___ U.S. ___, 115 S.Ct. 851, 130 L.Ed.2d 808 (1995).
