OPINION

O'CONNOR, Justice.

This mandamus involves two motions to recuse the Honorable James Blackstock.1 We conditionally grant the requested mandamus relief against the Honorable L.J. Krueger.

The underlying suit is a child custody dispute between Rebecca Sills (the Mother) and Derek Wayne Sills (the Father). In re Sills, No. 86K1872 (300th Dist.Ct., Brazoria County, Tex., Nov. 18, 1986).2
