The state filed a complaint charging appellant Jim Dillon with three counts of selling and aiding the sale of a controlled substance. See Minn.Stats. §§ 152.021, subd. 1(1); 152.022, subd. 1(1); 609.05. A jury convicted him on two first-degree counts and one second-degree count.
