The appellant, Keith Campbell, was convicted of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a violation of § 13A-12-212, Code of Alabama 1975, and of escape in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-10-31, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to 2 years in the penitentiary for his conviction for possession of a controlled substance and to 20 years for his conviction for escape in the first degree. Both sentences are to be served...
