Following a jury trial, the defendant, Sanatone Moss, was convicted of aggravated criminal sexual assault (Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 12-14(b)(1)) and sentenced to an extended prison term of 60 years. (See Ill.Rev.Stat.1991, ch. 38, par. 1005-5-3.2(b)(1).)
