JOHNSON, Justice.

Plaintiffs appeal from a judgment of the Chittenden Superior Court declaring that plaintiff Patrick Lecours directed reduction of his uninsured and underinsured motorist (UM) coverage with defendant Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (Nationwide) to the statutory minimum. We affirm.
