Defendant pleaded guilty to the crimes of rape in the first degree and attempted rape in the first degree in satisfaction of other pending charges and was sentenced as a second felony offender to consecutive prison terms of 12½ to 25 years and 7½ to 15 years, respectively. As part of his plea, he waived his right to appeal except as to the harshness or excessiveness of the sentence. Inasmuch as we find that this waiver was knowing and voluntary, defendant is precluded...
