The appellant, Scott Leon Anderson, pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), a violation of § 13A-12-211, Code of Alabama 1975. He was sentenced to seven years' imprisonment on each count, the sentences to run concurrently. The sentences were split, and he was ordered to serve two years in the penitentiary and the remainder on probation. Additionally, he was sentenced to five years...
