Appellant, Randall Evan Ritchie, contends that his sentence for second degree murder is invalid, because the trial court failed to comply with the statutory requirements provided in section 39.059(7)(c), Florida Statutes (1993), for sentencing him as an adult. We hold that because appellant was convicted of a lesser offense to that charged, which is punishable by a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, the trial court was not required to comply with...
