In this appeal we are asked to determine whether Pennsylvania has subject matter jurisdiction to modify a prior custody order of an Arizona court pursuant to the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA), which is codified at 23 Pa.C.S.A. sections 5341 et seq. The trial court found that the child's home state was Alberta, Canada, and that Pennsylvania had no basis to assume jurisdiction and modify Arizona's prior custody order. We conclude...
