Timmy D. Rogers appeals his eighty-seven-month prison sentence, imposed after having pled guilty to possession of a firearm by a previously convicted felon in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). Rogers challenges the district court's1 institution of a four-level increase in the base offense level, pursuant to § 2K2.1(b)(5) of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines. Section 2K2.1(b)(5) provides:
