This appeal asks us to determine the right of the legal custodians of a minor child to bring a paternity action in domestic relations court after parentage has been previously determined in a final decree of divorce.

The marriage of Mark and Vicki Broxterman was ended by a decree of divorce entered on December 17, 1984. In the divorce decree was a finding by the court that Joshua Broxterman ("Joshua") was born the issue of this marriage. Custody...
