Noel Martin's and Gerald Martin's actions against their former foster caregiver, Gerald Gates, resulted in judgments for each of $1,000,000. National Union Fire Insurance Company (NUFIC) and the Minnesota Joint Underwriting Association (MJUA), the foster parent liability insurance providers for the State of Minnesota for the period of the abuse, brought declaratory judgment actions...
