Appellant, attorney for plaintiffs below, filed a motion for sanctions for alleged violations of discovery rules by the defendants. That motion was argued at a hearing on July 15, 1993. At that time it appeared that the case was not ready for the trial scheduled on July 20 because the parties had not completed discovery nor filed their pretrial statement.
