City firefighters sued the City of Wichita (the "City") for wages due under the Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA"). The district court concluded that the City had violated the FLSA by improperly calculating the "regular rate" of pay used to compute overtime and by exempting certain employees from FLSA overtime requirements and granted summary judgment for the firefighters.
