This action has had a rather tortured history, dating back to 1991, with defendants, over the past three years, pressing for a dismissal for plaintiffs' failure to comply with routine disclosure and deposition requests, and plaintiffs' attorneys seeking to be paid counsel fees which might have been due if a settlement offer had been approved, agreed to or accepted by the clients.
