Appellant Fearance has been tried and sentenced to death twice for stabbing Larry Faircloth nineteen times and causing him to bleed to death in his own bedroom, during Fearance's aborted burglary. This court rejected Fearance's first federal habeas petition and denied a certificate of probable cause to appeal only three months ago. Following his third collateral trip through the state courts, Fearance filed for § 2254 habeas relief...
