The issue in this case is the meaning of placement with "the least restrictions consistent with adequate treatment" under the Mental Health Procedures Act, 50 P.S. §§ 7101-7503 ("MHPA").

After a period of in-patient treatment, appellant was subject to an order committing him to 180 days of additional involuntary treatment. Under the statute, 50 P.S. § 7103, involuntary treatment contemplates either inpatient or outpatient status...
