This case arises from a legal malpractice action against the law firm of Schiff, Hardin & Waite and one of its attorneys, Stuart Goodman. At issue is whether the lawsuit is barred under section 13-214.3 of the Code of Civil Procedure (735 ILCS 5/13-214.3 (West 1992)) which contains a two year statute of limitation and a six year statute of repose.
