Following the denial of his motion to suppress evidence, defendant pled guilty to third degree possession of marijuana with intent to distribute (N.J.S.A. 2C:35-5a(1) and 5b(11)) and was sentenced to a term of four years. The plea resulted in the revocation of defendant's probation on a more serious prior conviction for possession of a large quantity of cocaine with intent to distribute (N.J.S.A.
