In this putative class action lawsuit, plaintiffs, Tanya J. Mudge and Jonathon Brown, alleged that defendants, Macomb County, Macomb County Sheriff's Department, and William Hackel, the Macomb County Sheriff, violated the Prisoner Reimbursement to the County Act (PRCA), MCL 801.81 et seq.; MSA 28.1770(1) et seq., by obtaining and implementing ex parte orders seizing plaintiffs' bond monies for reimbursement of the expense of plaintiffs' incarceration...
