The issue presented in this case is whether defendant, pursuant to the Compulsory Process Clause of Section 10, Article I of the Ohio Constitution, has the right to place a witness on the witness stand for the purpose of having the witness invoke the Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination in front of the jury.
