Pursuant to the provisions of 28 U.S.C. § 2255, the petitioner, Guy Leonard Prince, challenges the validity of the sentence imposed upon him following his conviction for conspiracy and illegal possession of a firearm. Specifically, Prince alleges that the district court should not have sentenced him using provisions of the United States Sentencing Guidelines because, he contends, those guidelines were not yet in effect on November 23...
