Young-Cummings alleging that she violated Standard 44 (wilful abandonment and disregard of a client's legal matter) of State Bar Rule 4-102. In its complaint, the State Bar further sought discipline under Bar Rule 4-103 (the recidivist rule, authorizing imposition of discipline for a third or subsequent disciplinary infraction).
