OPINION OF THE COURT

CAPPY, Justice.

This is an automatic direct appeal from the imposition of a sentence of death.1 Following a trial by jury, Appellant was convicted of murder in the first degree, 18 Pa.C.S. § 2502(a), two counts of aggravated assault, 18 Pa.C.S. § 2702, two counts of conspiracy to commit assault, 18 Pa.C.S. § 903, and one count of conspiracy to commit murder, 18 Pa.C.S. § 903.
