The Derry District Court (Thornton, J.) found the defendant, Kent Woods, guilty of the violation of simple assault committed in a fight entered into by mutual consent. RSA 631:2-a (1986). The court sentenced Woods to a fine and ordered him to pay restitution to the victim "through the Department of Probation on all unreimbursed or uninsured hospital, surgical, medical or other causally related expenses."
