This case arises out of an automobile accident that occurred on January 13, 1992. Plaintiffs-Appellants, citizens of Ohio, sued Defendants-Appellees, a Kentucky company and its employee, in a diversity action in federal court in Kentucky. The complaint was filed on January 11, 1994, within the two-year period in which a motor vehicle injury action must be commenced under the Kentucky limitations statute. See Ky.Rev.Stat.
