In the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, a jury (Hon. Thomas J. Bollinger, presiding) convicted Michael Stewart Matusky, appellant, of two first degree murders. Appellant concedes that the evidence was sufficient to establish that, on January 24, 1993, he killed Pamela Poffel and her mother, Gertrude, by stabbing each victim with a sharp, single edged object.
