Cornelius Maxim, Jr. was convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g) (1988), and illegally possessing a machine gun, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(o). Maxim now appeals the district court's1 denial of his motion to suppress evidence seized in a search of his home, and the calculation of his criminal history category under § 4A1...
