Following a jury trial, defendant-appellant, Michael Jacobs, was convicted of receiving stolen property in violation of R.C. 2913.51. The evidence presented at trial showed that in early July 1994, James A. McGurty reported to the Cincinnati Police Department that his 1986 Isuzu pickup truck had been stolen.
