Both parties to this case have appealed the trial court judgment that awarded Hadley $283,000 against his former employer. VAM, the employer, was found liable for Title VII retaliatory discharge and Texas common law intentional infliction of emotional distress, but not liable for disparate treatment on the basis of race.
