At all times relevant to this special action, Winfield Chadwick ("Petitioner") was a school teacher pending criminal trial on charges of sexual conduct with a former student, and he was also pending a dismissal hearing by the Tempe Elementary School District Governing Board ("Board"). Petitioner filed this special action after both the Board and the trial court denied his request that the dismissal hearing be stayed pending resolution...
