The defendants-appellants, police officer Edward Kaizer and the City of Chicago, appeal a jury award of damages against them in favor of plaintiffs-appellees Daniel Latino and Robert Slawinski for arrest without probable cause and false imprisonment. The plaintiffs' jury award came after the second trial in this case; the first jury trial found in favor of the defendants, but that verdict was vacated by the district judge on a post-trial...
