On November 17, 1993, Stanley Alpert and his wife, Carol (the Alperts), filed suit against Le'Lisa Condominium and Edward M. Swiggard, John C. Tunell, and Alfred B. Inners, members of Le'Lisa's Board of Directors (Le'Lisa), in the Circuit Court for Worcester County.
