This case is an attempt to impose lender liability. Respondents are a limited partnership mortgagor and its general partner-loan guarantor. They sued the lender-petitioner after the mortgage had been foreclosed. The Circuit Court for Harford County held that certain core allegations of the respondents' complaint were precluded, under res judicata principles, by the judgment in the foreclosure action.
