The dispositive issue in this appeal is whether, under the circumstances of this case, the trial court's jury instruction regarding the element of causation of the death of the victim requires a new trial. The defendant, Juan Carlos Munoz, appeals1 from the judgment of conviction, following a jury trial, of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a).
