Plaintiffs, the surviving next-of-kin of Jennifer Dawn Levin, whose death in Central Park on August 26, 1986 occurred at the hands of Robert Chambers, commenced this action in August of 1988 against the individual defendants, doing business as Dorrian's Red Hand Restaurant, and the restaurant itself for having allegedly violated General Obligations Law § 11-101, known as the Dram Shop Act, and Alcoholic Beverage Control Law § 65, which prohibits the sale of alcoholic...
