Wendell Gaines appeals from a judgment convicting him of two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. He asserts the trial court improperly denied his motion to suppress a notebook the police seized as evidence and to suppress drug evidence they found in his car. The issues are: (1) whether the police lawfully searched Gaines's notebook; (2) whether the police lawfully seized his car; (3) whether the warrant to search his car...
