The issue raised by this appeal is whether the defendants, Pauline R. Kezer, the secretary of the state, and the A Connecticut Party (ACP), unlawfully failed to recognize the named plaintiff, Mark Nielsen, a candidate for the state senate in the November 8, 1994 general election, as the ACP's endorsed candidate from the twenty-fourth senatorial district. Nielsen and the plaintiff Charles Hamad, the sole delegate at the ACP's twenty-fourth senatorial district...
