Defendant, Robert J. Armantrout, Sr., was injured in two separate accidents, both of which occurred while in the course of his employment. His employer, Combined Insurance Company of America, through its insurer, National Union Fire Insurance Company, (subrogees) paid him workers' compensation benefits.
