OPINION

SPRINGER, Justice:

In this appeal we construe NRS 651.010,1 which limits a hotel's liability for theft, loss, damage or destruction of "property left in the room of any guest."

The Nadjarians claim that they lost $24,800.62 worth of personal property while they were hotel guests at Caesars Tahoe.2 Caesars invited the Nadjarians as "VIP's" to attend a New Year's Eve gala event...
