MADSEN, Justice.

A Pierce County Superior Court judge terminated Patsy Jones' parental rights to her daughters, K.R. (born March 12, 1983) and R.J. (born March 7, 1988), Steven Jones' parental rights to R.J., and Ralph Rogers' and John Doe's parental rights to K.R. The Court of Appeals reversed the termination order and remanded for a new trial. The State and the children's guardian ad litem (GAL) petitioned for review. We reverse.
