OPINION

MANNHEIMER, Judge.

Elizabeth Halberg was convicted of second-degree murder, AS 11.41.110(a)(1), following a jury trial in the superior court. In our previous decision in this case, Halberg v. State, Memorandum Opinion and Judgement No. 2685 (Alaska App., April 28, 1993), we held that Halberg's first statement to the Alaska State Troopers was taken in violation of Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436
