This is an appeal by the defendant from a verdict for the plaintiffs in a supermarket personal injury case. The plaintiffs, Deborah Phillips and Gregory Phillips, sued as the parents of their minor child Arielle Phillips (whom they call "Jennie"). The defendant is Winn Dixie Louisiana, Inc. The plaintiffs alleged that Jennie was injured when a shopping cart in which she was seated overturned and that the shopping cart overturned because of a defective...
