The issue raised in this appeal is whether the trial court correctly dismissed defendant-appellants' exception of improper venue. Although the judgment appealed is interlocutory, it causes irreparable damage because it cannot be remedied by this court after trial. Herlitz Construction Co., Inc. v. Hotel Investors of New Iberia, Inc., 396 So.2d 878 (La. 1981);
